Welcome to Campsite Notes! These terms are written in plain language because we believe you shouldn't need a lawyer to understand how to use a camping journal app.

The Basics

Campsite Notes is a personal tool to help you track your camping trips, save favorite campsites, and remember your outdoor adventures. By using it, you agree to these simple terms.

Your Account

  • You're responsible for keeping your login credentials secure
  • You must be at least 13 years old to use Campsite Notes
  • One account per person, please
  • Don't share your account with others

Your Content

The trips, notes, photos, and campsites you add to Campsite Notes belong to you. We don't claim ownership of your content. However, by uploading content, you give us permission to store and display it back to you (that's kind of the point!).

Please don't upload:

  • Content that isn't yours or you don't have permission to use
  • Anything illegal or harmful
  • Spam or malicious content

Acceptable Use

We ask that you:

  • Use Campsite Notes for its intended purpose (tracking camping adventures!)
  • Don't try to hack, exploit, or abuse the service
  • Don't use automated tools to scrape or overwhelm our servers
  • Be respectful if you interact with us

Early Access

Campsite Notes is currently in early access, which means:

  • The service is provided free of charge
  • Features may change as we improve the app
  • We may have occasional bugs or downtime
  • We appreciate your patience and feedback!

Termination

You can delete your account at any time. We may also suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. If we ever need to shut down Campsite Notes, we'll give you advance notice so you can export your data.

Disclaimer

Campsite Notes is provided "as is" without warranties. We do our best to keep your data safe, but we can't guarantee perfect uptime or that nothing will ever go wrong. Please keep your own backups of important information.

Informational Content and Limitation of Liability

The checklists, guides, and materials provided by CampsiteNotes are for general informational purposes only. They are not professional, mechanical, legal, or safety advice.

Users are solely responsible for the safe operation and maintenance of their RV, trailer, or equipment. Always follow manufacturer instructions, applicable safety guidelines, and local regulations.

CampsiteNotes makes no representations or warranties regarding the completeness, accuracy, or suitability of any checklist or content provided.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, CampsiteNotes shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages arising from the use of the site or its materials.

Changes to These Terms
